Brixton Capital Appoints Rob Taylor as President
Taylor Will Also Retain His Role as Brixton’s Chief Officer of Investment
Brixton Capital, a privately held real estate investment firm, promoted Rob Taylor to President, which he’ll serve in addition to his current role as Chief Investment Officer. In his new role, Taylor’s responsibilities expand to overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations. This includes acquisitions, portfolio optimization, capital markets, fundraising, financing, asset management and investor relations.
Since joining the firm in 2023, Taylor has demonstrated a unique ability to drive innovation and operational excellence while strengthening the firm’s position in an increasingly competitive real estate landscape.
“Over the last year, Rob has exhibited remarkable leadership, strategic foresight and an unwavering passion for our business and company mission,” said Brixton’s Founder and Chairman Marc Brutten. “His ability to deliver results while fostering strong partnerships has solidified his reputation as a transformative leader. We are thrilled to have Rob at the forefront of Brixton Capital through its next phase of growth and success.”
Taylor has more than 25 years of real estate, acquisitions and capital markets experience. Before joining Brixton, he spent over a decade at Invesco Real Estate, a global private equity platform managing $100 billion in assets.
At Invesco, Taylor led residential investment strategies in California, Arizona and Colorado and oversaw the firm’s single-family rental platform, which included a $2.5 billion portfolio spanning 6,000 homes across 18 markets. Additionally, he managed commercial acquisitions in retail, industrial, office and life sciences in key Western U.S. markets.
Taylor’s professional journey also includes significant tenures at KBS Realty Advisors and Goldman Sachs & Co., where he worked in acquisitions and capital markets. His educational background includes a master’s degree in business administration with a finance concentration from the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University, and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Loyola Marymount University.
Taylor’s promotion aligns with Brixton Capital’s commitment to attracting and empowering industry-leading talent to drive the firm’s continued growth. With Taylor’s proven expertise and deep understanding of the real estate investment market, Brixton Capital is well-positioned to expand its portfolio and strengthen its reputation as a leader in the industry.
