Joaquin Quinones

VICE PRESIDENT, ACCOUNTING

As VP of Accounting, Joaquin Quinones is responsible for leading Brixton’s accounting function, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting across all corporate and property-level operations. He plays a critical role in evaluating financial performance, identifying risks, and implementing policies and internal controls that safeguard company assets and support scalable growth.

Prior to joining Brixton, Joaquin accumulated over 13 years of experience in the real estate industry, including roles at Ernst & Young, where he worked with leading private and public real estate companies, and as Controller for a multifamily REIT through its initial public offering. He also served as a Development Controller overseeing development projects with budgets exceeding $2.0 billion. Most recently, Joaquin was a Director at BDO, advising one of the largest REITs focused on the U.S. regulated cannabis sector.

Joaquin earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Auditing from the University of California, Riverside and is an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of California. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
