As the Director of Capital Markets, Grant Brutten plays a crucial role in raising capital for Brixton’s acquisitions of shopping centers and multifamily properties. His role spans the entire life cycle of property ownership with key responsibilities in investor relations, underwriting and negotiating partnership structures, and sourcing new private capital partners.

Prior to his role in Capital Markets, Grant worked as a Project Manager for Brixton Capital. As a PM for Brixton, Grant worked with the retail team, managing tenant improvements, entitlement projects, and redevelopment projects. Prior to Brixton Capital, Grant worked as an assistant project manager for Suffolk Construction. As an APM, Grant worked on three type-1, high-rise residential buildings, serving numerous construction management roles.

Grant received his bachelor’s degree in communication with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Boston College. Grant also received a Master’s in Science in Real Estate from the University of San Diego. Grant is actively involved with Miracle League, Honorary Deputy Sheriffs Association, NAIOP, and USD’s mentorship program.
